This project consisted of seven different bridge structures ranging from two simple wide flange structures, three fracture critical plate girder structures and two thru girder heavy rail bridges. The bridges were designed and installed in order to expand and improve the existing light rail mass transit system. The project will bring this section of the rail system into alignment with the planned electrified double tracks with 15’-6” centers and a maximum design speed of 65 mph.
